Characteristics of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy



Cognitive behavioral therapy is a form of psychotherapy that aims to cure people suffering from emotional disorders by focusing on the behavior of process and thought patterns of individuals. It is a general term used several approaches such as rational emotive therapy, cognitive therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, therapy of ADHD etc. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) has essentially the following features:
