The Horror Show that is the Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is a horror television series that airs on AMC. It is based on comic of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. It has several characters, but the main character is a sheriff named Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln. Another supporting character is Daryl Dixon, who at the end of the fourth season becomes the primary backup and Rick Guard. Daryl is played by actor Norman Reedus. The series is produced by AMC Studios and directed by Frank Darabont, who is also executive producer.

This is a series that has won numerous awards, and especially viewers. The series Broken Records, and is one of the first zombie show to last so long. One reason for the exponential growth of the number of fan base is the kind rarity in the series. It ends as Rick proclaims that residents chose the wrong people to live with.
