Clinton Portis did its part, too, rushing 290 times for 1,591 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The Broncos were 12-4 in 1997 and they marched through the playoffs and defeated the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl. Terrell Davis had a great season this year, carrying the ball 369 times for 1,750 yards and 15 touchdowns.

# 1 - Terrell Davis - 1998

In 1998, Denver was a time 13-0 before finishing the season with a 14-2 record. They then made short work of the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets in the playoffs before defeating the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl for the second victory in a back to back championship. Terrell Davis was a key to their success this season, rushing 392 times for 2,008 yards and 21 touchdowns.
