Smartphones Overview

The Smartphone is the wave of the present and the future. Just when most people thought that cell phones could not be better than the Apple iPhone, a series of smartphones has made its glorious entrance.

The concept for smartphone applications, short for smartphone applications is not new. In fact, it dates back to 1992 when the first smartphone called Simon was invented. It was a mobile phone or early cell. This includes applications such as clock, address, e-mail book, notepad, to send and receive faxes, as well as games. The first real Smartphone was sold in 2000, when the Ericsson R380 was released. It was the first mobile phone that was actually called a smart phone. In 2005, Nokia started launching its Nseries of 3G smartphones, which are not called cellular phones or smartphones, but "multimedia computers", although in fact they were mostly Smartphones.

In 2008, the Android, a cross-platform smartphone operating system, was released. It was the first smartphone to introduce the use of applications, or "apps". In July of the same year, Apple introduced its App Store. The App Store is able to deliver third-party applications for the iPhone or iPod touchpad user via wi-fi or cellular networks without using a PC to download.

The App Store has become a huge sensation. In fact, from March 2010, which offered 170,000 applications had been three billion downloads from January 2010.

There are different types of applications. In the BlackBerry Blackberry App World, you can download supposedly 140,000 free applications, with games, social networking, shopping, productivity, and other amenities. You can customize your BlackBerry Smartphone with literally tons of applications for what you want when you move. BlackBerry App World has of this writing 5 million users worldwide.

e is credited with the creation of several mobile phones, including the former being the first company to introduce the Microsoft Smartphone.

It has many, many applications and free you can download via the Android market. Nokia- Nokia E62 is another smartphone that is becoming increasingly hot in the market of smartphones. It has several features and applications, such as the N-series, E series, Xpress Music, and Classic, etc. Like its competitors, it must stay ahead and, like its competitors, claims to offer many free applications.

As with all smartphones, they have their different games. Interestingly, it was observed by most review articles PC that most PC applications are really games. Some of the most popular games being played on Apple smartphones, for example, are "Tapulous Tap Revenge," a rhythmic style of play and the "Tap Tap Revenge". In fact, it was estimated in 2009 that three of the best playing games on smartphones were Tap Tap Revenge; Touch Hockey: FS5; and the old time favorite, Pac-Man and other games outside the top twenty-five years.

Short GPS Global Positioning Systems has become increasingly an aid source of information on travel in recent years. There is a map or navigation computer system that has been of immense help too. So yes, there's an app for that too.
