Crockpot Recipes For Its Low Glycemic Index Diet Hearty, Healthy Meals

About the second week in a low-glycemic diet, you may find yourself looking for something other than cheese low fat, a handful of nuts, and celery sticks, chest grilled chicken and steamed broccoli. You can start losing your crock pot and all these wonderful healthy meals you love to come home; not to mention the savory flavors of a meal cooked slow boil all day.

You can still enjoy many delicious dishes cooked in your crockpot, even if you are on a low glycemic diet. Here are some simple recipes that I have tried in my family, with excellent results, and my diet intact!

Asian Cuisine Inspired Peas meat

You will need: 2 1/2 pounds round steak; the 1 cup soy sauce; 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger; 2 cloves garlic grated or chopped; 2 tablespoons cooking soup tablespoon oil; Peas 2 cups

Cut a round steak into 4 equal pieces. Place the steak in your slow cooker. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for about 6 hours or until meat is smooth. Serve over cooked rice.

You will need: 1 pound bag of peas division; 2 pounds cooked ham, diced; 3 chopped or grated garlic cloves; 1 medium onion, chopped yellow; 3 stalks celery, diced; 1/8 teaspoon black pepper; 7 cups of fresh water; 5 cubes of chicken broth

Put all the ingredients in your slow cooker. Turn your crock pot on low and cook for 6-7 hours. Lift the lid briefly through the cooking time several times and give a quick stir so that the peas do not just stay in the background of the slow cooker.

You will need: 2 pounds lean ground beef; 2 yellow onions means, diced; 1 green pepper, diced; 2 stalks celery, diced; 3 cloves garlic, minced; 2 (16 ounces) diced tomatoes boxes; 2 (16 ounces) nozzle cans of beans; 1 (16 oz) can lima beans; 1 (16 oz) black beans; 1 (15 oz) can of chicken broth; 3 teaspoons of pepper powder; 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin; 1 tablespoon black pepper; salt 1 teaspoon

Brown ground beef and drain excess fat. Put all the ingredients in your slow cooker and mix. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for about 6 hours. You can decorate with your diet allows!

When you cook dinner in your slow cooker, you probably cook for the whole family, right? Is the whole family as the "diet" crockpot meals? No one is disappointed and my diet stays on track.
