Overview Of The 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Designers and Hyundai engineers have spent four years developing the new Sonata. The new 4-cylinder engine has 200hp while offering consumer. There are three trim levels available GLS, SE and Limited. Engine- All three trim levels are equipped with a 2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve. The GLS 198 hp @ 6300rpm with 184 foot-pounds of torque. The Limited has 198 horsepower @ 6300rpm with 184 foot-pounds of torque. Even with this impressive power of a 4-cylinder Sonata is able to average 22 mpg city and 35 mpg highway according to your brochure car. This fuel economy is achieved in part through a new fuel injection system called "direct injection gasoline." The gasoline direct injection GDI and injects a precise amount of fuel directly into the combustion chamber of each cylinder, thus tightening fuel efficiency out of each gallon. The Hyundai Sonata is the first vehicle in its class with standard technology "Direct fuel injection".

Safety-Every Sonata comes standard with electronic stability control, traction control, and an advanced ABS braking system. Based on how hard or fast you drive, the sensors that measure yaw, lateral G-force, steering wheel angle and speed of the four wheels ESC system determines whether the projected path or your actual path are synchronized. If ESC determines that the car turns unless you want or mining, which provides additional brake force to the inside rear wheel. If the car skids or turn more than expected, which provides additional braking force to the outside front wheel for correction. The "traction control system" or TCS monitors your tires. advanced braking system or ABS Sonata has many safety features to it. "Break assist," which measures the speed with which the brake pedal is depressed. If the brake pedal is not pressed hard enough in an emergency "Brake Assist", it adds a little more power to stop. Like your car responds to braking may vary depending on your speed, road conditions, and even weight distribution in the car. "Electronic distribution of braking" uses sensors to calculate the right amount of braking force applied to each wheel. Sonata also has a reinforced unibody design and advanced front airbags.

The voice recognition system software is programmed to recognize a series of commands. Every Sonata comes standard with three months of XM radio and navigation equipped models come with XM real-time. The navigation system also integrates with the Sonata audio system. To use your iPod just connect to the input jack or wirelessly streaming music from mobile phones and drinking music devices via Bluetooth. All Sonata are equipped with built in iPod and USB inputs.
