In general, if sports parents, coaches and league officials talk about "youth sports", it refers to sports like baseball, soccer, football, basketball, lacrosse and so on for the team. Some parents and coaches claim that the benefit is lost if a child in the individual sports (karate, tennis, golf, swimming, etc) to participate. 3. It is good to learn at their own pace.
Individual sports allow athletes to compete at their own pace, some of the pressure will "catch up" to. For example, say your 12-year-old son wants to start playing hockey.
