So, with the help of the Blue Bunny chocolate and cherry ice cream, I decided to try the chocolate and cherry cheesecake! It is the best of both worlds! Ice cream and cheesecake in fabulously delicious packaging! Perfect for a warm, sunny day by the ocean!

We have been full-time campers for about a month and since we left the business and set off, it was a great adventure! You can follow our trips on my other site, the series of trips. Here in Bar Harbor, Maine, the trees are finally starting to grow, the grass is green and the water is incredibly beautiful. We are currently "Work Kampers" in KOA Bar Harbor.

That means that we work in the camp to ensure that the campers are happy and stay there. It's a great way to see the country, stay busy and have fun at the same time. So when it's time to rest on a warm, sunny day, it must be the perfect time, right?

Here is a nice recipe, easy to prepare and completely decadent:

Beat the cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar and vanilla with the blender until blended.

Add the eggs one by one and mix one after the other at low speed until they are mixed.

Pour over the graham cracker crust.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 325 degrees or until the middle is almost ready.

Cool and cool for approximately 4 hours.

Now for the secret ingredient!

Blue Bunny Bordeaux Cherry Chocolate Ice Cream! Simply cut the cheesecake into pieces and place it in the bottom of a glass.

Homemade Bordeaux cherry chocolate ice cream sandwiches

My favorite ice cream in the world is Blue Bunny Bordeaux Cherry Chocolate. I like to take this ice in a glass and pour some milk on it. This gives it a smooth texture, ice cube. Good. Kroger (where I buy) does not wear this ice cream, so I had to miss it last year.

Say hello to home-made Bordeaux chocolate! And if you want to make an extra effort, say hello to the cherry and chocolate ice cream sandwiches from Bordeaux! Ice cream sandwiches are one of my favorite things in this world.

Combining these two things almost makes me cry. Okay, I'll stop being an idiot. But seriously. So good follow the cooking recipe for a simple vanilla ice cream and add the almond extract, the cherries and the chopped pieces of dark chocolate.

Notes: I really think that all these thick creams make the ice cream too rich. I replace 3 cups of 1% milk for whole milk and heavy cream and I love it. It is less creamy and more like yogurt, but it reduces many calories (329 calories per 1/2 cup to 170 calories). I would not change anything!

The sandwiches are nice and soft and they stay in the freezer for days. Oh, and I withdraw that, I have really changed one thing. I have added a little almond extract to accompany the ice cream. I was very happy with the result.

1 Place the BLUE BUNNY® ice cream into balls and place it on a parchment-covered glass plate.

Place the plate in the freezer for 15 minutes or until the ice is half hard.

Remove the plate with the ice scoops from the freezer, place a stick on each spoon and place it back in the freezer.

2 Heats a cup of water in a medium-sized pan over low heat and place a medium-sized steel dish on top of the pan.

Mix the semi-sweet chocolate, cream and sweetened condensed milk in the bowl, stirring until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

3 Meanwhile, place decorative ornaments in individual small glass containers.

4 Remove the steel container from the heat and quickly immerse the pallets in the chocolate and then in the decorative border.

Place the pallet in the freezer until they are ready to serve.

All those years I worked under the illusion that happiness is the result of a move to Hawaii and a rest on the beach. Or complete the education of my children so that I can finally find peace. Or lose 10 pounds. Or buy this thing in this ad that advertisers promise to improve my life: you know, the one-shot blender.

Or receive a huge financial legacy after the death of a distant relative and use that money to buy a mansion with a library that works in a secret room. Can I be happy even if the circumstances are not ideal?

Can I choose to be happy despite the very mild winter days, the 38 degree weather and the bustle that "doesn't go away"? Get up every morning with the determination to be happy, "Ralph Waldo Emerson said,"... is to set our own conditions to the events of every day.

After tens of minutes of deep thought, here is my conclusion: happiness is like Bordeaux chocolate and cherry ice cream. I think it's not a perfect comparison.
